When I looked up Help for autocorrect, Microsoft's picture of the dialog box did not show this setting. The only thing I can see in the settings that looks anything like relevant is an Autocorrect setting titled "Correct keyboard setting" (in File->Options->Proofing->Autocorrect Options.->Autocorrect) but changing that does not appear to make any difference Unfortunately, I cannot replicate this and do not know what causes it or how to stop it. Sorry, I wondered if that was what you actually meant.
